How We Protect And Use Customer Information

1. We are committed to protecting the security and integrity of customer information through procedures and technology designed for this purpose.
  • We limit employee access to customer information to those who have a business reason to know. Employees are required to honor our code of conduct, which includes standards for protecting customer confidentiality.
  • We maintain policies and procedures covering the proper physical security of workplaces and records.
  • Our physical, electronic, and procedural safeguards meet or exceed federal standards regarding the protection of customer information.
  • We require contractors and outside companies who work with us to adhere to strict privacy standards through their contracts with us.
2. We collect and maintain customer information as part of servicing your account and your customer relationship.
In the course of serving you, we collect information about you from a variety of sources, such as:
  • Information you provide to us on applications or forms, such as your income and accounts with others;
  • Information we receive from an outside company, such as a credit bureau, regarding your credit history or employment status; or
3. The customer information we collect is used to service your accounts and meet your assistance needs. Information may be used by ProLink™ Solutions, as well as with authorized third parties (described in section 4), for a number of purposes, such as:
  • To protect your accounts from unauthorized access or identity theft.
  • To process your requests such as assistance applications.
  • To keep you informed about the status of your application.
4. We do not share customer information with outside parties who may wish to market their products to you. We may disclose the information we collect to non-affiliated third parties that are acting on our behalf, or as permitted or required by law, including:

  • Government entities, courts or other entities (in response to subpoenas and other legal processes), or those with whom you have requested us to share information.

Tips To Help You Protect Your Personal Information

  • Carry only necessary information with you. Leave your Social Security card and unused credits cards at home in a safe location.
  • Make photocopies of vital information you carry regularly and store them in a secure place, such as a safe deposit box.
  • Do not provide your Social Security Number unless absolutely necessary.
  • Shred documents containing personal or financial information before discarding. Fraud and identity theft often occurs as a result of mail and garbage theft.
  • Place outgoing mail in a U.S. Postal Service mailbox to reduce the chance of mail theft.
  • Promptly retrieve incoming mail to reduce the opportunity for theft.
  • Monitor your credit report for accuracy. By law, you are entitled to receive one free credit file disclosure every 12 months from each of the nationwide consumer credit reporting companies. To learn more or request a copy of your credit report, visit or call 1-877-322-8228.

1. Registered Users
When you initiate an online application, our website will request information, such as your email address or your loan number. This information allows you to perform certain tasks (for example, apply for assistance) and it allows us to provide the information you requested. In these cases, we collect only the information necessary to interact with you. We also gather data to track website usage, such as number of hits, pages visited, and the length of user sessions in order to evaluate the usefulness of our sites.

2. About cookies
Cookies are pieces of data assigned by a web server to the browser on your PC. Cookies help websites to keep track of your preferences and to recognize return visitors. So, when you return to a website you've visited before, your browser gives this data back to the server. Contrary to reports about cookies, cookies do not contain viruses. We do not embed your Social Security number, account number(s) or password in our cookies.

ProLink™ Solutions uses cookies to make your online experience richer and more personalized. Also, without revealing your identity, cookies help us confirm your identity and help us keep your information with us secure.

We also use cookies for various purposes such as maintaining continuity during an online session or gathering data about the use of our site.

You cannot use our site without cookies

You can set your browser to reject cookies. However, if you choose to reject cookies, you cannot register online with ProLink™ Solutions. If your browser rejects cookies, you may not be able to sign on to your favorite sites or use the features you like most within those sites.

The latest versions of Microsoft and Netscape's browsers allow you to reject cookies automatically. With this feature it may not be necessary for you to set your browser to reject cookies.

We encourage you to read the privacy policies of the websites you visit before you accept cookies from them.

3. We work to ensure privacy and security during your online sessions
The information you provide to us online is protected by Secure Socket Layer (SSL) technology. SSL is the leading security protocol for data transfer on the internet. This secure session helps protect the safety and confidentiality of your information when you bank with us online.
